Rick Roth is a photographer who sees his work as the output of immersive experiences, preferring to lean on casual observation rather than a structured approach.  As a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, he’s drawn on his foundational fine arts training both in his photography and professional careers.  Rick is a retired Army National Guard infantry officer and spent the early years of his military career as a photojournalist/print journalist covering Army training and operations throughout the world. He and his family reside in Maryland.
